The contractor remedial therapists working for Ambience Bardon are fully qualified and hold professional association membership. They are able to conduct an assessment of their clients and use a variety of techniques to tailor treatments to suit the individual needs of each client.

Health fund rebates are available for remedial massage treatments with most of our therapists. If you are unsure whether your therapist is able to offer rebates for your particular treatment or health fund, please contact our clinic prior to your consultation.

Clients who are eligible to claim health fund rebates will either be able to claim on the spot with our HICAPS electronic claiming system or given a receipt which can be taken to their health fund to obtain the rebate. Please note that not all health funds are able to be processed electronically and a receipt may still need to be given for claiming with some health funds.

Nathan is the senior remedial massage therapist and Operations Manager at Ambience and has been treating clients for more than 17 years. Nathan has been working with Ambience over 6 years. He holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Nathan is a passionate and caring therapist who specializes in the following types of massage: sports, deep tissue, orthopaedic, joint mobilizations, pre/post natal, hot stone and Kahuna. In addition to these types of massage, he performs trigger point therapy, myofascial release, reflexology and Kinesio-taping. Nathan’s treatments are customized and take into account postural disorders, repetitive motions, and chronic pain patterns. Nathan has a strong focus on assessment which enables him to quickly identify the cause of his clients’ pain or injury. He combines his vast experience, great intuition, and extensive knowledge of the human body to achieve the best results for his clients. He has worked in Perth, Japan and Brisbane in clinic and with professional sports teams. He specializes in sports massage, trigger point therapy and deep tissue and can offer helpful advice on stretching and strengthening exercises to improve posture and manage pain. Kessie has been working in the natural health field since 2001 when she qualified as a yoga teacher. She gained her Diploma of massage in 2009 and has been practicing as a massage therapist providing Deep Tissue, Sports and Remedial massage. A firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind, Kessie is a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress. She strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being in our fast paced society. She has a special interest in Pregnancy and Post-natal massage having taught both Pre and Post-natal Yoga throughout Brisbane and is currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Midwifery. Matt has been with Ambience for over five years. He received his diploma in remedial massage therapy from Q Academy (Gold Coast).
Matt believes in fostering good habits and strives to help his clients understand their bodies and the everyday conditions that affect many of us; from occupational pathologies of desk-workers to gym junkies. He utilises deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, stretching and myofascial release with a goal of blending each treatment with relaxation techniques for an enjoyable massage.Matt is also available for relaxation (not to be underestimated in their benefits!) and hot stone treatments. Matt is available for consultations on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
